The Cottage Project was a step outside of our color comfort zone, in the best way possible. It also posed a fun challenge of  our smallest budget yet! Oh and it needed to be fully furnished—no big deal. This home was for a client who describes her style as eclectic and bohemian mixed with bungalow and old-world charm. It was definitely our most-unique design mix. To embody those styles, we played up a palette of moody teal, saturated burgundy and dusty pink while bringing it all back down to earth with neutral tones of cream, brown and tan. Mix in a few collective elements of brass, stained wood and time-worn ceramics, and this home feels like a well-loved cottage that you’d never guess is new construction.
