We are so excited to share an exciting project we’ve been working on. He’s the back story. This past summer we hired Megan to be our West Glen office manager. Megan was engaged at the time and planning her early-February wedding. Fast forward to mid-December when her fiancé Jason reached out to us with the ultimate wedding gift idea—a full living room makeover. Jason and Megan had moved into their new construction home over a year ago but still couldn’t agree on what furnishings and style they wanted for their living space. Jason had the epic idea to give us a budget to completely surprise Megan when they came back from their honeymoon. Can we say best husband ever? The tricky part was that I had 7 weeks to design and order furniture during COVID which is a daunting, complicated task, but we also only had about 4 days to install it all. The ordering process was fun (sarcasm) to say the least. I stressed hard to make sure I ordered items that were in stock and ready to ship. Every so often I’d get a backorder email and have to swap an item or I’d be calling customer service about shipping ETAs every week. I’m sure they loved me, but I was determined to make it work.
